Anyone driving by the Sheridan Inn Friday night could tell there was some kind of shindig going on.
Over one hundred folks showed up for some great food, music, and fellowship out front on the lawn of The Inn. It was the first fundraiser of the summer to keep the Sheridan Inn from being foreclosed on.
Jake Brooks, President of the Sheridan Heritage Center which owns the Inn, says it was a great night to be out.
Brooks says the focus of the fundraising is to keep The Inn out of the hands of the bank.
One hundred thousand dollars needs to be raised by the end of the year.
