Sheridan County Museum was bustling with excited kids Tuesday morning for the first installment of “Tidbit Tuesdays.”
The summer educational program is going into its sixth year. This summer's classes for kids incorporate literature and activities to give Sheridan kids a stronger sense of the geographical and cultural history of their hometown. Museum director, Nathan Doerr, was excited to kick off the season.
Doerr read a book to the kids about a family who traveled west to meet their gold mining father, and then designed activities to bring the story to life.
The next Tidbit Tuesday will be June 25. Space is limited and fills up fast, so now is the time to sign up for this free children's activity by calling the museum at 675-1150.
