The City of Sheridan has retained the services of AECOM to develop a plan to preserve the viewshed in Sheridan. Thursday, consultants with AECOM met with key stakeholders throughout the community to hear ideas on how to protect the scenic areas within Sheridan.

AECOM Landscape Architect Jeremy Call says that some of the feedback they've received centers around protecting the viewshed in Sheridan.

City of Sheridan Planning Director Robert Briggs stated that the City's role in developing the plan will mainly be to facilitate.

The consultants will host a public workshop on January 26, 2011 to garner input from the community. We will have more information on that workshop as the date draws nearer.

It's about time!

It's about time someone took the view-shed of Sheridan County seriously! It doesn't take a genious to notice how the view-shed has changed each and everytime a new piece of glass goes up on the face of the mountain! How about all those damned annoying yellow lights that are taking the night time away! If you are so afraid of the night don't move out to the country, stay in town so you can keep your light blazing as bright as the sun!We are quickly ruining what was once one of the most beutiful places on earth in our rush to modernize Sheridan and cater to all the out-of -staters who want to make Sheridan a little piece of what ever hell hole they moved here from!

please change my what ever from I hear voices to SAY WHAT! hope you can do this for thanks.
