Tourism through Sheridan has picked up this summer, which is good for the city's revenue. Penny Becker, executive director of Sheridan Travel and Tourism, explained that recovery from last year has been slow.
Becker added this week is looking promising because Sheridan is a convenient stop for motorcyclists, who will be headed to the bike rally in Sturgis.
