Sheriff's Deputy, Boot Hill, said they're hoping to raise as much public support as possible.

If you're not feeling up to the run, Hill said it's also ok to cheer on the sidelines. He outlines the route.

The run starts at the Sheriff's Office at 9:00, and so the flame should pass through Main Street at approximately 9:10 to 9:15. Sheridan's flame will pass through the hands of multiple athletes and law enforcement officials as it travels to Buffalo, on to Kaycee and ultimately reaches Laramie. On May 10, this flame will converge with 17 other flames from around the state at the Wyoming Special Olympics opening ceremony.
