The Sheridan Senior Center received a donation in the amount of $2,500 from the Sheridan Rotary Club that will benefit the Senior Center's Home Delivered Meals Program. Senior Center Executive Director Carmen Rideout says that the donation will allow for the purchase of 13 new home delivered meal bags and that the program continues to thrive after four decades of existence.

Rideout said that as part of their ongoing support of the program, Rotarians drive two of the 13 routes 52 weeks a year, and that the Senior Center is always looking for additional drivers to volunteer their time. If you'd like to volunteer for the Home Delivered Meals program, you can contact the Sheridan Senior Center at 672-2240.
