The Sheridan Senior Center has begun conducting a county-wide study on the future of public transportation within Sheridan County. Rindy West, director of development at the Senior Center, explains.
West says the consulting firm currently undertaking the study has offered up a survey to the public.
She explains the consultants will be exploring ways to improve public transportation in the area and involve those at the edge of the county, from offering different routes to investigating entirely new forms of transportation.
The survey is available at the Sheridan Senior Center, at 211 Smith Street, and all members of the public are invited to participate in this process. Additionally, electronic copies are available. West says the surveys should be returned by April 19.
