This week's Republican National Convention will bring together conservative representatives from all over the country, and Sheridan is no exception.
Jesus Rios, chairman of the Sheridan County GOP, is all the way down in Tampa standing by to make sure the republicans of Sheridan have a voice.
Rios said Hurricane Issac has held up the convention, which was originally scheduled to kick off Monday. Now, delegates will convene starting on Tuesday, and the convention will wrap up by Thursday.
Rios thanked the community, and especially his family, for giving him the opportunity to represent and serve Sheridan's political interests.
