SHERIDAN, Wyo. (AP) - Two employees from The Sheridan Press are in a Montana hospital after being seriously injured in a snowmobiling accident. The newspaper says photographer Blaine McCartney and sports editor Aaron Atkins were hurt while riding a groomed trail near Burgess Junction on Sunday. They were working on a story about snowmobiling in the Big Horn Mountains at the time.

McCartney was flown to St. Vincent Hospital in Billings and
Atkins was later transferred there by ambulance. McCartney is in stable condition after suffering broken bones and a tear in his aorta. He underwent surgery on Sunday and is awaiting additional operations. Atkins suffered two fractured vertebrae.
