The roof at the Sheridan Police Department has been a source of problems for a number of years now. Some of those problems will be lessened after the City awarded a contract to Loden Construction of Buffalo for the installation of a new membrane for the roof that will keep it from leaking. The current roof at the Police Department was installed in 1991, and has multiple leaks, many patch jobs and has been out of warranty since 2006. The $38,885 bid that was approved by the City is actually over twenty-thousand dollars less than the estimate and budgeted amount for the project.
