The Sheridan County Museum will be open Saturday, from 10 until 4, to offer a special program called “Behind the Scenes.”
Organizers say it's a close look at how a museum cares for artifacts and puts together an exhibit.
Though the museum galleries are closed from December 24 through May, the staff stays busy planning and preparing new exhibits. So, the “Behind the Scenes” program will continue on Saturdays, at the same time, through April, to continue to give patrons a sneak peak into the inner-workings of the county's museum.
During each event, a tidbit activity will be offered for children ages 4-12. No reservations are required and admission is free. The museum store is open from 1-5 Tuesday through Saturdays through April. The museum is located at 850 Sibley Circle. END
