Friday we told you about the Wyoming Department of Health's recommendation to Sheridan Memorial Hospital to have surgical patients in which a Laryngeal Mask Airway, or LMA was used between June 1st and November 8th of 2011 be tested for hepatitis B and C, and HIV. Hospital CEO Mike McCafferty says that next week they will be sending out letters to every patient that had a surgical procedure at the hospital during that time, including procedures where an LMA was not used.
