Sheridan Media Week In Review

Here's a look at the past week's top headlines from Sheridan Media News:

Cody police are still looking for a suspect in the abduction of an 11-year-old girl earlier this week. The man is described as a white male, 55-65 years of age, 185-200 pounds, with short, strawberry-blonde or white hair and a mustache or beard. The man was reported to be wearing a brown shirt, blue jeans, and a tan baseball cap. The suspect's vehicle is a white SUV with 2 front seats and the back compartment open with a mattress on the floor. The suspect may be living out of the vehicle. No license plate information is available, but witnesses reported the vehicle had a black and red backpack tied to a roof rack and a package of bottled water strapped to the pack and vehicle.
Due to the Carter Montain area being frequented by hunters this time of year, the Cody Police Department is seeking information from hunters who were in the area at that time and may have possible leads. The Cody Police can be reached at 307-527-8700.
