The Sheridan Housing Action Committee was formed in 2003, and officially opened their office in the summer of 2006 with a single staff member. SHAC Executive Director Marie Lowe explains some of their accomplishments.
Lowe said that they will continue to work with local developers, lenders and realtors on their goal of providing affordable home ownership. SHAC also offers educational classes to help assist in their various home ownership programs.
