A music group from Sheridan recently won a blues competition in Casper. Sheridan Media's Ron Richter has the story.

Gary Small and the Coyote' Brothers have won their second consecutive Wyoming Blues and Jazz Society's International Blues Challenge that was held over the weekend in Casper.

Small said that trimming the group down to a trio has given them a fresh unique sound.

The other two members of the group are bassist Jobe Jennings of Sheridan, and drummer Michael Gillan of Bozeman, Montana. Small explains that the smaller group isn't the only change that's been made lately.

Along with musical groups from around the world, Gary Small and the Coyote' Brothers will be competing at the Blues Foundation's 2015 International Blues Challenge in Memphis, Tennessee, January 20 through the 24 of next year.
