The Free Clinic of Sheridan County will replace old IT equipment using a $5,400 donation made possible by the Kim and Mary Kay Love Family Donor Advised Endowment Fund and the Sheridan Area Opportunities Fund.

The clinic received the grant Tuesday, November 8th. Clinic Executive Director Cathi Kindt explains what the donation allows them to do.

She says there's definitely a need for IT upgrades at the Free Clinic.

Kindt added that they have already began ordering new equipment and expect to begin installation in the next few weeks.

The Free Clinic of Sheridan County provides primary care to uninsured, economically disadvantaged Sheridan County residents 19-64 years of age, according to a release from the clinic.

The Sheridan-Johnson County Community Foundation, which holds both donating endowment funds, approved the grant.

"The Wyoming Community Foundation is a charitable organization that builds and preserves funds established by individuals, families, corporations, agencies, and private foundations," the release said.

"The Community Foundation uses the earnings from these funds to benefit community needs across the state of Wyoming."
