Sheridan County has received the grant agreement from the Wyoming Department of Transportation that will allow for the application of magnesium chloride on approximately 140 miles of County roads. The dust suppression project will cost an estimated $375,000, with the WYDOT grant covering $300,000 of that amount. Sheridan County will match that amount with $75,000 in Capital Facilities Tax funds. Commissioner Tom Ringley.
The Sheridan County Commissioners approved the grant agreement with WYDOT at their regularly scheduled meeting Tuesday.
