Sheridan County recently received the Rural Planning Project of the Year award from the Wyoming Planning Association. County Planner Mark Reid explains what landed Sheridan County the special recognition.
Reid said that preservation of open space in agricultural lands for future development was implemented in 2010 and was identified as a high priority item in the County's Comprehensive Plan.
