Habitat for Humanity of the Eastern Bighorns will now have $40,000 more in funding to use on affordable housing projects thanks to a recent approval of a resolution by the Sheridan County Commissioners. Sheridan County Administrative Director Renee' Obermueller says that the funding originally came from the affordable housing fund.

Habitat plans on using the additional funding for affordable housing lots in Ranchester. The City of Sheridan and the other municipalities in Sheridan County have also agreed to allocate the funds to Habitat for Humanity.
