Sheridan County will hold a second informational workshop on septic system management in the Story area at 6 pm Tuesday at the Story Women's Club. Sheridan County Public Works Director Rod Liesinger tells us how the workshop is intended to inform the public on new specifications they're considering for septic systems in Story.
Liesinger said that they held a meeting like this in February that was well attended.
The specifications are intended to make up for things like lot density in the Story area that should be be taken into account when replacing septic systems. Liesenger has said that the water tests haven't shown a significant problem but these specifications are proactive to prevent problems from appearing.
