Several weeks ago when State Representative Jon Botten announced that he would not seek reelection for the House District 30 seat, it opened the door for prospective candidates. Sheridan native and Sheridan County GOP Chair, Kathy Coleman has announced that she will run for the seat soon to be vacated by Representative Botten.
If elected, Coleman explains what her goal will be as state representative.
There were no other candidates for House District 30 at the end of the business day Wednesday. The deadline to file for federal, state, county and municipal offices nominated at the Primary Election is this Friday, June 1st.
