While fire restrictions around the state are being lifted in several National Forest areas and counties, the bans are still active in Sheridan County. County Commissioner, Terry Cram.
Cram said he doesn't anticipate the bans will be in effect much longer.
Current fire restrictions prohibit most open flames within the county. However, fire restrictions have been lifted in many parts of the Big Horn National Forest.
