The Sheridan County Fair began Sunday and will continue through Monday, August 3rd. Area youth competed in equine events on Monday. Fairgrounds Facilities Director Sharon Nadeau says the staff will be working long hours to make sure the community will have the best fair experience.
The livestock competitions fill the entire week but several other events are yet to come. The open classes will begin on Wednesday and there is still time to register in those classes.
Most of the entertainment is scheduled for later in the week. The Whitlocks will perform Thursday night and Friday and Saturday. The popular pig wrestling will take place, as usual, on Saturday night in the main arena. The Sheridan County Fair is free and all events are open to the public. You can find results by clicking here.
