The Sheridan County Comprehensive Plan was adopted in 2008 and has 52 specific strategies that include everything from zoning regulations to conservation and groundwater protection areas. Sheridan County Planner Mark Reid says that the plan is revisited every five years.
Reid said that some of the major accomplishments of the plan include the Dayton area rezone, establishing a groundwater protection area and a conservation design process.
