The Sheridan County Airport will soon be equipped with 14 brand new security cameras, thanks to the County Commissioners approving a contract with Ptolemy Data Systems, Inc.
The Airport does not currently have security cameras in the terminal and parking lot areas.
County Commissioner Bob Rolston says they've been trying to get this project going for some time.
The contract with Ptolemy that the Commission approved was in the amount of $29,306. Airport Manager John Stopka will regularly review the data from the security cameras.
