The Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities, or CARF International, have accredited the Sheridan County Adult Drug Court for a period of three years. The accreditation decision represents the highest level of accreditation that can be awarded to an organization and shows the organization's conformance to the CARF standards.
Sheridan County Justice Office Administrator Neal Madson says that in order to receive the three-year accreditation, they put themselves through a rigorous peer review process during an on-site visit by a team of surveyors.
Madson explains a little bit about the Sheridan County Adult Drug Court program.
The program has been providing services since 1998 with in-house treatment services beginning in 2007.
