Business students at Sheridan College will hold the first of eight sessions today where they'll be offering free tax preparation. The tax assistance is for those with an annual income of less than $50,000 with relatively simple returns. Sheridan College Business Instructor Tracy Dearinger explains what those looking for help need to bring with them.
Dearinger says that there is one other important thing that people need to keep in mind.
All of the tax assistance sessions will be held at Sheridan College in the Whitney Building room 139B. Today's session will be from 9 am to noon.
