Sheridan College opened up one of their residency halls last night to provide a temporary shelter to those displaced by flooding in Montana, and for any of the Downer Addition residents who were temporarily evacuated Tuesday night.
Larissa Bonnet is the Director of Residential Education and Housing at the college. She tells us how this partnership transpired.
Susan Barnes is the Northeast Wyoming Branch Manager of the American Red Cross, based in Gillette. She is thrilled with the college's collaboration.
As for whether the Golden Dome will need to be utilized, Barnes says.
Meantime, grateful and weary Crow and Cheyenne Reservation evacuees are safely awaiting the opportunity to return to Montana.
