When the Northern Wyoming Community College District Board of Trustees approved a new strategic plan for the district, one of the goals was to improve upon the percentage of students who graduate. Sheridan College President Dr. Paul Young spoke at Wednesday's Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce monthly luncheon. He stressed that having students earn a degree or certificate is something that has been lacking in the U.S.
Young stated that the College District will attempt to do their part to climb back up the ladder.
The three strategic areas included in the new plan are student success, community success, and organizational health.
