A Community College Week special report identifying the 50 fastest growing community colleges in 2012 ranked Sheridan College the 11th fastest growing community college in the nation. Dean of Enrollment Sharon Elwood.
The report placed Sheridan College in a category of similar-sized institutions, enrolling 2,500 to 4,999 students. According to a media release from Sheridan College, the report is based on the change in enrollment from the fall of 2010 to the fall of 2011. Sheridan College had 10.5 percent growth during that time.
It should be noted that the enrollment includes the entire Northern Wyoming Community College District, which is made up of campuses in Sheridan, Johnson and Campbell counties.
