The Northern Wyoming Community College District Board of Trustees issued a media release this morning, announcing four candidates to fill the Interim President position. The candidates, in alphabetical order are: Dr. Jon Connolly; Dr. Mark Englert; Dr. Cindi Thiede; and Dr. Paul Young.
The NWCCD Board of Trustees announced last week the process to be used for selection of the interim president. The process and suggested timeline is as follows: By yesterday, Monday, December 7th, all interested in-house candidates were to submit an application by the end of the day.
Tomorrow, Wednesday, December 9th, the Search Committee will interview all applicants and make recommendations to the Board. Next Wednesday, December 16th, the NWCCD Board of Trustees will interview all the candidates, and then on Thursday, December 17th, the Board will announce their decision at the regularly scheduled Board meeting.
The Interim President at Sheridan College will fill the open position left by Dr. Kevin Drumm, who accepted last week an offer to serve as President of Broome Community College in Binghamton, NY. His last day at Sheridan College will be January 15th.
