The Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce Governmental Affairs Committee will hold its annual Legislative Forum Jan. 4 and 5, and businesses looking for chance to share their concerns with state legislators should sign up soon.
Legislators meet with businesses, institutions and individuals during the forum held each year, collecting valued information before the state legislature convenes. Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce Teresa Detimore is on the Governmental Affairs Committee and tells us more.
The forum includes all state legislators from Sheridan and Johnson Counties; Senators Bruce Burns and John Schiffer, and Representatives Roise Berger, Jon Botten, Mike Madden, and John Patton.
Detimore reiterated that those interested should call early to sign up because there are only a limited number of 15-minute presentation time-slots. The final schedule will be released at a later date. Call Detimore at the Chamber at 751-1003 or email at firstname.lastname@example.org
