The national economy continues to fluctuate in terms of depression and recovery, but at least one local business is celebrating its profitable niche.
Resource Staffing, Inc., celebrated making its millionth dollar of revenue this week. The company provides temporary and seasonal laborers to a variety of businesses who have a fluctuating workforce. Kathy Coleman founded the business in 2010, a year that wasn't necessarily booming for a lot of other companies.
Whether a company is trying to build up or cut back, the need for temporary employees has kept Resource Staffing a vital piece of Sheridan's economic puzzle. Coleman said Sheridan's tourism industry and seasonal work opportunities account for a large part of her company's success.
