It's just over a month away, but the Sheridan Angels – with their slogan “changing the world through deliberate acts of kindness” – needs your help. On Saturday, September 7th, the group that prides itself on giving a hand up, not a hand down, will be holding a dinner an silent auction at the Holiday Inn Convention Center.
Shelli Lapp, a Sheridan Angels administrator, explains.
The event kicks off with cocktails at 6 p.m. and dinner starts at 6:30. All proceeds from the ticket sales will go to benefit the Sheridan Angels' Christmas Projects. While she can't divulge the details about the projects just yet, Lapp says residents can expect it to be huge.
She says Chuck Belus and the Let'er Buck Band offered to perform at the event for free and they're slated to play from 6 to 8 p.m. Again, the Sheridan Angels dinner and silent auction will take place between 6 and 8 p.m. on Saturday, September 7th. Tickets are available for purchase at the Elks Lodge, Walgreens and Carroll's Furniture.
