SHAC/NMNA Collaborate for Grant Application

SHAC and the North Main Neighborhood Association will submit and grant application for planning only grant for a housing study.

The Sheridan Housing Action Committee, or SHAC, has joined forces with the North Main Neighborhood Association to apply for a planning only grant through the Wyoming Business Council to conduct a housing study. SHAC Executive Director Karin Spann explains just what the grant would be used for and the collaboration with NMNA.

The request for the planning only grant is in the amount of $13,000. Three quarters of the grant would be funded by the Business Council, with NMNA picking up the 25% local match. The Sheridan City Council will hold a special session over the noon hour this Wednesday to adopt a resolution supporting the grant application.
