Wyoming Senators, Mike Enzi and John Barrasso, both visited Sheridan Saturday.

Senator Enzi hosted an inventors symposium at the Sheridan College CTEL throughout the day to give aspiring inventors from around the state a viable resource for taking their ideas to the next level. Senator Enzi said he started sponsoring a convention each year for the purpose after meeting many young people from Wyoming living all over the world who said they would like to live in Wyoming, but the job market was unaccommodating. Enzi said inventors can work for themselves and live anywhere they choose.

His remarks were made at a luncheon sponsored by Sheridan County's Republican Women's club. In addition to promoting his event, Senator Enzi said he's been busy in Washington, D.C., with his work on the budget committee, saying he's in the process of deal making, but he was optimistic the proposal may pass. He then provided a ten-minute critique of president Obama's job performance before he went on to discuss the recently failed gun control bill, the sequester, online tax regulations and Congressional pay. Senator Barrasso also made a guest appearance at the luncheon, and thus, Wyoming's entire Senatorial delegation was in the same room at the Powder Horn. Senator Barrasso participated in a Q&A session with Senator Enzi at the conclusion of the luncheon.
