U.S. Senator Mike Enzi, a ranking Member of the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee, spoke on the Senate floor recently to express his disappointment with the Kennedy health care reform bill that passed in the HELP Committee.
Enzi explains why it's so important to get this piece of legislation right the first time.
Enzi says the Kennedy Health Care bill gives too much control to the government.
Enzi also expressed his hope that the Finance Committee can still write a good health care reform bill - a bill that ensures every American has quality, affordable health care, and is fully paid for with savings exclusively from health care, and lets Americans keep what they have if they like it.
