U.S. Senator Mike Enzi joined a bipartisan coalition of lawmakers and energy trade groups Tuesday in front of Capital Hill at an energy jobs rally. Enzi spoke about putting an end to the EPA's over-regulation of the coal industry.
The senator stated that in Wyoming, coal provides 87 percent of electric power generation, which is why based on cost of electricity, Wyoming ranks second in the nation in energy affordability. He added that the benefits of coal extend far beyond cheap electricity, directly and indirectly providing hundreds of thousands of good paying jobs across America.
