U.S. Senator Mike Enzi issued a statement Friday reminding Wyoming citizens to reflect on the sacrifices made by those in uniform this Memorial Day - and the impact their sacrifices have made on our lives.
Senator Enzi asked citizens to take time on Monday to honor those who have fought and those who paid the ultimate sacrifice to serve and protect our country.
Enzi says Memorial Day has been reserved to recognize, respect and honor the sons and daughters who died serving their country since the Civil War.
He says thanks to those brave sons and daughters, their families and all those who stood with them on the battlefield, we have received the blessings that come from our citizenship and our American way of life.
