U.S. Senator Mike Enzi called for the resignation for members of the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) who were appointed directly by President Obama. In a media release, Sen. Enzi called the appointments "illegal." But Enzi is not alone in his sentiments.

This week, he joined a bipartisan group of senators who sent a letter to the board members, Sharon Block and Richard Griffin Jr., asking that they step down from their post.

The District of Columbia's U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals recently ruled that the president's actions in appointing Block and Griffin Jr. violated the separation of powers set forth in the Constitution.

Enzi said the court was very clear in its ruling, and along with other senators, called for the immediate resignation of the two board members - and that they stop drawing a salary.

Additionally, Enzi also partnered with others in introducing a bill that would prohibit the NLRB and Consumer Financial Protection Bureau from enforcing or implementing decisions and regulations without a constitutionally confirmed board or director.

We've attached a copy of the letter and the bill below.
