U.S. Senator John Barrasso spoke on the floor of the Senate Tuesday, pointing out some of what he calls the most recent negative consequences of President Obama's health care law.
Senator Barrasso says the law will end up increasing claim costs by an average of 32 percent - and discourage small businesses from hiring new workers.
Barrasso, who's practiced medicine in Wyoming for nearly 25 years, says people in the state don't want an extra layer of federal government between them and their healthcare providers.
Additionally, Barrasso notes that many are projecting an increase in insurance costs overall, both to the insurance companies and those who are insured.
