There are only a few weeks left before the Hand-in-Hand Early Childhood Education Center facility will be complete. Now is crunch time for the Sheridan Economic and Educational Development Authority. The Board has to make sure that all the final funding for the building is in place. SEEDA Chairman Tom Sachse says working with the Wyoming Business Council on the grant has been the easy part of the process.
The Board discussed several possible change orders but was unsure whether or not they could afford them. One change order included field painting the fence posts so they would not be bare galvanized metal. Board Member Kati Sherwood says the painting will cost $1,700.
The board will meet with City Treasurer Jennifer Reed to clean up the books and provide hard numbers. Reed is providing accounting for the board.
KWN Construction still expects the building to be complete by August 31st.
