SEEDA Extends Deadline for RFQ

The Sheridan Economic and Educational Development Authority Joint Powers Board at their July meeting agreed to issue a Request for Qualifications in hopes of finding a firm to help craft the scope of a target industries study. The board received three proposals, none of which were local. That prompted Sheridan Mayor Dave Kinskey to suggest that SEEDA allow for more time to hear from local consultants interested in responding to the RFQ.

The JPB approved a motion to extend the RFQ deadline by thirty days. SEEDA Administrator Robert Briggs.

The target industries study will focus on career and technical education training in the Sheridan area. A sub-committee was also formed to help the project move forward more efficiently. The sub-committee is comprised of Susan Bigelow; Dave Kinskey; Robert Briggs and Molly Steel.
