The Sheridan Economic and Educational Development Authority discussed revisions to the memorandum of understanding with Forward Sheridan Tuesday.
Forward Sheridan essentially markets the lots in the Hi-Tech Business Park and Sheridan Commercial Park to organizations involved in economic development. SEEDA Administrator Robert Briggs says that they'll continue to fine tune and simplify the language of the MOU.
SEEDA owns three lots in the Sheridan Commercial Park and the land in the Hi-Tech Park in north Sheridan. Sheridan Mayor and SEEDA Board member Dave Kinskey says he's been in talks with Forward Sheridan about using the real estate market to promote SEEDA'S property.
SEEDA Chairman John Heath opposed the idea of using the real estate market, saying that it's Forward Sheridan's job to promote and market the property.
