The Sheridan Economic and Education Development Authority has held a couple of special meetings this month to work on the details on a Request for Proposal for use of the Hand in Hand facility in Sheridan. Tuesday, at their regular board meeting, SEEDA adopted the RFP, which focuses on two main areas, the financial viability of the proposed reuse of the facility and the types of programs that will be offered. SEEDA Chairman Dr. Paul Young explains the time line for interested parties submitting a proposals.
Young said that they will evaluate the proposals they receive on August 23rd, which is extending things a bit longer than what they'd originally anticipated.
The Hand in Hand Center officially closed its doors June 3rd. The Center was open for a little over a year and a half.
