A prisoner, James Friesen, was last seen leaving the Wyoming Honor Conservation Camp in Newcastle Monday morning and has not yet been located, though there have been confirmed sightings. Authorities have expanded the search to include several agencies, to include the Forest Service and several Sheriff's Offices in South Dakota. A media release from the state's Department of Corrections said at least 30-50 law enforcement officials searching for Friesen via horseback, all-terrain vehicles and a helicopter.
Friesen is 5-feet, 10-inches tall and about 160 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes. If sighted, he should not be approached, but instead, contact local law enforcement.
