Talk of state issues in education, local trends, and new courses were followed by discussions of addressing developmental studies enrollments and possible pilot projects Monday night during a Sheridan College/Sheridan County School District 2 Joint Board Meeting.

The growing relationship would not only have benefits toward college preparedness. Not everyone goes to college; Young referred to the many jobs going unfilled due to the lack of vocational/tech. ed. certificates.
Goals of each educational entity have been pushed by state and national pressure toward improving student performance in post-secondary school ventures, whether that be college or the workforce.
