At their meeting Tuesday night, the Sheridan County School District 1 Board of Trustees approved a contract to purchase property surrounding the Big Horn campus.
District superintendent, Marty Kobza, says the campus was significantly undersized when it was built.
Kobza says the district was able to negotiate and secure 15 acres of land surrounding the Big Horn campus. He says the School Facilities Commission approved the purchase and explains what the next step in the process will be.
Again, Kobza says the purchase of 15 acres surrounding the Big Horn campus will take place on October 7.
