At their meeting earlier this week, the Sheridan County School District 2 Board of Trustees gave an update about the sale of the Old Woodland Park school building.
Superintendent Craig Dougherty says the sale is imminent.
Dougherty says everything is going according to plan with the sale of the property owned by the district at the moment, but additional details about the purchaser have not yet been released.
He also told the trustees the Wyoming Department of Transportation is looking in to possibly purchasing an outlot of the property to develop along the highway adjacent to the old school building.
During the meeting, the trustees opened the floor to the public - but no one participated in the public hearing.
Stay with Sheridan Media as we cover this story. We'll have more information on the sale this Thursday.
