It's a Family Affair

Saturday, C & K Equipment hosted an old fashioned tractor pull and sale in the field across from their business on Commercial Lane. It was a family-friendly affair with folks sitting in lawn chairs along the pull lane watching the tractors compete.

Sales tax, we all pay it unless we cross the state's border and head up to Montana. It's one of the largest sources of income for the state and its counties. Here in Sheridan, we pay 6% on our purchases from merchants.

One thing we've come to expect to see downtown are the hundreds of flower baskets hanging along Main Street in Sheridan. Saturday the pots were hung thanks to the Downtown Sheridan Association and the volunteers that joined them.
